Mountain Pose or “Tadasana” Simple pose that is great for posture.
How to: Stand tall with feet together. Eyes closed if you feel comfortable. Let your arms rest at your side with fingers close together and hold. Bring arms up over head with hands facing each other and hold. Modification if standing is a challenge: Lie on your back with the soles of your feet pressed up against the wall.
How to: Lie on your back bring legs up onto a flat wall
Keep your legs straight and the end of your back should meet the wall (place pillow under low back if support is needed).
Childs Pose How to: Start in a kneeling position with the tops of your feet on the floor. With your knees slightly apart, lean back to bring your buttock to your heels and rest your belly and chest between your knees. Let your head rest on floor or pillow and stretch your arms out in front of you. Relax and breathe.
