One hour treatments with the same physical therapist.

One of the benefits of going to Mizuta & Associates Physical Therapy is the one-on-one treatment patients get with their therapists. Unlike other clinics, we do not use technicians or aides in our rehabilitation programs. Patients tend to like this concept, making treatment more personalized. Every patient will see the same therapist for the duration of the treatment process, unless requested otherwise. This helps each patient establish a trusting relationship with his or her therapist, which we believe helps speed up recovery.

Schedule appointments from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays.

Our clinic hours are so convenient that it is difficult not to find a time that works for a patient! We schedule patients from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is opportune for patients that need to come in before or after work. Patients that cannot come in during the work week are able to schedule on Saturdays. For those patients who commute to or from San Diego, Saturday may be the only day available for physical therapy. Saturday appointments are also great for patients who have surgery on Friday and need to start treatment the next day. Lastly, some pediatric patients have parents that work long hours or tend to other children during the weekdays; Saturdays may be the only time a parent has to bring their child in for therapy. Complementary insurance verification.

When a potential patient calls Mizuta & Associates to schedule an appointment and chooses to use his or her insurance benefits, we always verify benefits right away at no cost to the patient. We accept all PPO insurance plans, Medicare and Tricare, both Prime and Standard. As long as we have a patient’s date of birth and member ID, we are able to call the insurance company and get a patient’s insurance benefits. After gathering this information, we call the patient back immediately to get him or her scheduled for an evaluation.
