Dr. Graig Gubello is a doctoral-trained physical therapist specializing in movement dysfunction, musculoskeletal injuries, and geriatric care. His clinical expertise includes therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and balance training, with a focus on helping aging patients regain strength and mobility. He completed advanced post-graduate training in manual therapy at the University of St. Augustine, the Insitute of Clinical Excellence and Maitland Australian Physiotherapy.
Dr. Gubello began his career in physical therapy in 2005 as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), gaining experience in various settings, including acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient clinics. Before relocating to San Diego, he practiced in South Florida, working with a diverse range of patients, from competitive athletes to those with complex medical conditions.
Dr. Gubello believes in an individualized approach to therapy, helping patients of all ages achieve their specific goals, regardless of how long they’ve struggled with their condition. He empowers his patients through education and exercise, equipping them with the tools they need to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.
Outside of work, Dr. Gubello enjoys staying active by rock climbing, exploring San Diego’s hiking trails and spending time at the beach.
