Dr. Laurel Echols, DPT

Laurel received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2007 from Texas Woman’s University. Since moving to San Diego 16 years ago, she has been working at a local outpatient clinic, with a diverse patient population ranging from post operative care to the weekend warrior. Her focus in physical therapy lies in restoring function by combining therapeutic exercise and patient education with manual physical therapy to provide effective rehabilitation interventions.

Laurel enjoys treating patients of all ages for orthopedic, sports, and neurologic rehabilitation.
Her goal is to empower patients to help them achieve their goals and return to activities they enjoy. Her love for sports and her interest in the human body helped her to develop her interest in the field of physical therapy.

In her spare time, she enjoys exploring San Diego and going on adventures with her young son. They enjoy spending time outdoors at the beach, camping, reading and traveling.
