Mary McLendon

Mary McLendon has been immersed in healthcare since 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Clemson University. Originally from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, she began her career as a pharmacy technician—an experience that offered a behind-the-scenes introduction to the medical field, allowing her to build a strong foundation in healthcare operations before stepping into more patient-centered environments.

Since joining Mizuta & Associates Physical Therapy in 2012, Mary has played a key role in managing network relations and billing coordination, ensuring patients have a smooth and informed experience from start to finish.

In 2019, Mary co-founded Recover, a telehealth app designed to connect patients and providers, serving as co-owner and CEO. She also operates McLendon Unlimited, where she works as a business consultant for medical companies—leveraging her operational expertise and systems-driven approach to help practices grow and run more efficiently.

While her career began behind the scenes, Mary has built her niche on the business side of healthcare—proving that meaningful impact in patient care extends far beyond the clinical setting.
