Ryan Campbell, PT, MS, DPT
Physical Therapist
Ryan graduated from the UCSF/SFSU graduate program in Physical Therapy with a Masters in Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. Ryan began his clinical career in Santa Barbara, CA working in outpatient orthopedics with a population ranging from weekend warriors, post-operative care, neurologic injuries, work-related injuries, geriatric fall prevention, and collegiate and professional athletes. Here Ryan developed a hands-on treatment approach, with a strong base in manual skills to identify and effectively treat soft tissue and joint dysfunctions. Through continuing education, Ryan began utilizing Craniosacral Therapy as an adjunct to other manual skills. After marrying in 2016, Ryan continued his practice in outpatient orthopedics in Rhode Island, and further studied effective treatments for movement dysfunctions. Ryan settled in San Diego in 2022 continuing in outpatient orthopedics and began working in mobile outpatient service in 2023. Ryan appreciates the rare opportunity to work one-on-one with all clients for up to an hour at a time, allowing for an effective and individualized treatment approach from the comfort of their own home.
Outside of his work as a physical therapist, you will likely find Ryan at the beach. As an avid surfer, Ryan loves to spend his time in the water either surfing with his wife and friends, volunteering to teach adaptive surfing allowing everyone to experience the joy of riding waves, or taking surf photos from within the water. When out of the ocean, Ryan spends his time nurturing his hobby of photography (with a love for analog process and vintage cameras), attending live music, reading, or playing trivia games with friends.
